Role Description:



The primary purpose of this role is to Lead a Team of enthusiastic, mission driven folks sourcing Cocoons in Maharashtra and responsible for P&L.



Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Scouting new regions, Expansions, Conducting Farmers meetings, onboarding Farmers within the assigned Territory, and retaining the Farmers.
  
• Market research, Trend analysis and forecast planning.
  
• Planning & achieving procurement targets for all centers under him.
  
• Improving profitability, controlling wastage and other quality issues of cocoons
  
• Hand holding and Training the procurement executives.
  
• Building a positive relationship with local prominent farmers and Govt officials
  
• Pay-out management to farmers.
  
• Cost effective Logistics planning.

Core skill sets ideally include, but are also not limited to:

• Should be willing to relocate anywhere in Maharashtra
  
• Should be willing to travel across Maharashtra
  
• Should know Marathi, English, and Hindi.
  
• Minimum 8 plus years of experience in Procurement, Sales or Operations
  
• Bike with driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  
• Any MBA or Bachelors Degree (Agriculture/Horticulture/Sericulture would be an added advantage)
  
• Should be skilled in MS Word and MS Excel
  
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  
• The ability to manage and supervise a staff team
  
• Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis
  
• Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.

Preferences :



Preferred from Agritech Industry who has experience in Procurement or Sales.
