Job Summary
The Assistant Breeder - Maize will support the maize breeding program in the development, evaluation, and release of improved maize hybrids and varieties. The role involves field and lab work, data collection and analysis, coordination of trials, and maintaining breeding nurseries.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and execution of breeding trials including hybrid evaluations and yield trials. Support the development and maintenance of nurseries, crossing blocks, and seed production plots. Collect, record, and manage accurate phenotypic and agronomic data. Assist in statistical analysis and interpretation of research data. Coordinate and monitor field activities with technical staff and contract growers. Help maintain germplasm inventory and seed processing activities. Ensure all work complies with biosafety, regulatory, and company guidelines. Contribute to report writing, documentation, and research publications.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
