Key Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations
Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports
Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payments
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
Assist in the preparation of GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
Handle petty cash and employee reimbursement claims
Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the senior accountant or finance manager
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field
0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
Basic understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing or trading company
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation rules
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Zoho Books, etc.)
