We are seeking a reliable and experienced Accounts Assistant to support our finance team at the Lower Parel office. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and assisting in the preparation of reports and statements.
Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain all accounting transactions in Focus accounting software.
Handle purchase, sales, and journal entries with accuracy.
Manage vendor payments, petty cash, and bank & ledger reconciliations.
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
Coordinate with auditors and internal departments for required documentation.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices and vouchers.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Similar Applications and MS Excel.
Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance preferred.
