Your Role in Our Story

As an

Assistant - Accounts

, you will play an essential role in supporting the Finance and Accounts department in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely data entry, and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. You will contribute to the smooth financial functioning of the organization by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting through Tally and other accounting tools.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Finance Team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Assist in implementing systematic accounting practices to enhance financial transparency and control. Record daily financial transactions in

Tally

and verify their accuracy. Handle

accounts payable and receivable

, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections. Assist in preparation of

bank reconciliations

,

journal vouchers

, and

expense entries

. Maintain proper documentation of invoices, bills, and payment vouchers. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Coordinate with internal departments for expense details, purchase bills, and approvals. Reconcile vendor and customer accounts periodically and resolve discrepancies. Prepare reports on daily cash flow, petty cash, and outstanding statements. Support internal and external audit processes by providing required data and documentation. Maintain confidentiality of all financial and employee-related information. Any other accounting or administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

1-3 years of experience in accounts or finance operations, preferably in a hospitality or service industry.

Qualification:

B.Com Graduate (Accounts/Finance specialization preferred).
