Job Summary



The Assistant Accountant supports the finance team by handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, assisting with month-end processes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger entries Prepare and process invoices, bills, expense reports, and payments Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Prepare basic financial reports and schedules as required Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records Assist with audits by providing required documentation and explanations Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and statutory requirements Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or diploma a related field Fresher can also apply Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, invoice, bookkeeping similar) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills
