Job Title: Assistant Accountant - Beauty Parlour / Salon - FEMALE CANDIDATE

Job Summary

We're looking for a detail?oriented Assistant Accountant to support our salon's finance team. You'll help keep the books tidy, process payroll, manage inventory costs, and ensure we stay compliant with tax regulations--all while adding a dash of personality to the daily grind.

Key Responsibilities

- Record daily cash receipts, payments, and invoices; maintain accurate ledgers

- Reconcile bank statements and credit?card accounts each month

- Process bi?weekly payroll, handle employee expenses, and ensure timely filing of statutory deductions

- Track inventory usage and supply costs, feeding data into budgeting and forecasting models

- Prepare monthly financial reports (profit & loss, cash flow) and assist with year?end audits

- File GST, TDS, and other statutory returns, staying up?to?date with local tax laws

- Support the senior accountant with budget preparation and cost?control initiatives

Required Qualifications

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- 1-3?years of hands?on accounting experience, preferably in a service?oriented business (beauty salon, spa, etc.)

- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books) and MS?Excel

Skills & Competencies

- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail

- Excellent communication--you'll be liaising with staff, vendors, and tax officials

- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast?paced, client?focused environment

- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic payroll regulations

Salary & Benefits
