Education: Bachelor's (Preferred: B.Com, M.Com, MBA, or equivalent)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant with at least 1 year of accounting experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Tally or other accounting software, and the ability to manage daily accounting operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally, Excel, etc.)
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and vendor payments
Prepare GST filings and support in tax compliance
Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain and update financial records and documents
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP, QuickBooks, or similar)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GST filing and TDS returns
Familiarity with financial audits and statutory compliance
