Financial analysis and reporting:
Preparing financial statements (like profit and loss, balance sheets), creating budgets and forecasts, and analyzing financial performance to provide actionable insights to management.
Tax preparation:
Computing taxes owed, preparing and filing tax returns, and ensuring timely payment of taxes.
Regulatory compliance:
Ensuring all financial records and statements comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Auditing:
Inspecting account books and systems for accuracy and efficiency, and potentially conducting internal or external audits.
Payroll management:
Processing payroll, collecting timesheets, and managing employee deductions and allowances.
Financial advising:
Suggesting ways to reduce costs, improve profits, and enhance revenues by analyzing financial data and business plans.
Key skills and tools
Proficiency with accounting software and technology, including TALLY automation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify financial risks and opportunities.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with management, external auditors, and other stakeholders.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant financial standards.
