Assistant
to manage and oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective management of accounting functions. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Implement and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
Lead, guide, and mentor the accounts team to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen accounting and reporting systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, CMA, or MBA Finance preferred).
Minimum 3+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and compliance regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
