Job Description

Job Overview:



We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial records, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily accounting transactions.

Record journal entries and maintain general ledgers.

Prepare bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.

Process accounts payable/receivable and verify invoices.

Support in preparation of GST/TDS returns and other statutory compliances.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com - Accounting/Finance).

1-2 years of accounting experience (freshers with strong knowledge may also apply).

Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other compliances.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.

Time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
