At Global Outsourced Accounting Services, we provide quality and affordable accounting services to businesses in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and some European countries.
About the role
You will be working as an accounts assistant for us and assisting our clients, based mainly in Australia. The work involves processing transactions (data entry) in accounting software, invoicing, reconciliations, journal entries, preparing financial statements, payroll, and other accounting-related work as requested by the manager.
The successful candidate will be getting on-the-job training.
Experience
1 to 2 years of experience in an accounting practice.
Skills
Strong oral and written English communication skills.
Must have experience in Tally. Highly preferred if you have experience in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
Excellent computer skills and Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
You must have good attention to details, as this role requires a high level of accuracy.
Self-starter, goal-oriented, and capable of completing work on time with minimal supervision.
Organised, detail-oriented, analytical, and has the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Positive and respectful work attitude.
Qualifications
B.com or accounting-related degree or above is a must.
