We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assist. Manager/Manager to manage and coordinate logistics activities at our manufacturing factory in Halol - Vadodara. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations (inbound and outbound logistics).
Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
Maintain updated records of logistics and transportation operations.
Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth dispatch and receipt of goods.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and quality standards.
Optimize logistics processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
Handle documentation such as invoices, packing lists, e-way bills, and gate passes.
Support inventory control and stock management at the factory.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly logistics reports for management.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in any discipline. 7-8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain in a manufacturing environment and min. 3 to 5 year at Managerial position.
Knowledge of logistics software.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good understanding of transportation regulations and documentation.
Preferred:
Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
