Job Summary:
We are seeking a competent and organized
Assistant Manager
to support departmental operations and ensure efficient business processes. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Manager and team to oversee daily functions, supervise team members, coordinate projects, and contribute to strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Manager in planning, organizing, and executing departmental goals and strategies.
Supervise and guide junior team members; ensure team productivity and performance targets are met.
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure timely project completion and goal alignment.
Prepare and present reports on performance, challenges, and solutions.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and operational procedures.
Support in recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members (if HR-related).
Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest actionable strategies.
Manage workflow, assign tasks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Proven experience (0-5 years) in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant tools.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle pressure.
