Summary:

The Assignment Editor is responsible for assigning stories, blogs, and news articles to team members. This includes developing story ideas, assigning reporters to stories, and editing stories for accuracy and clarity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and a proven track record of success in assigning and editing content.

Responsibilities:

• Develop story ideas
• Assign reporters to stories
• Edit stories for accuracy and clarity
• Work with reporters to ensure stories meet deadlines
• Monitor the news cycle and identify breaking news stories
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments

• Bachelor\'s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in assigning and editing content
• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong editing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail
