Job Description

Job Summary:

The Assembly Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated and semi-automated assembly machines used in the production of medical equipment and components. This role ensures products are manufactured according to established quality standards, safety regulations, and production goals in a cleanroom or controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor automated or manual assembly machines to produce medical devices and components. Set up machinery and perform changeovers according to production schedules and work instructions. Inspect parts visually or using measuring instruments to ensure conformance with specifications. Maintain accurate production and quality records in accordance with GMP and ISO 13485 standards. Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process deviations to maintenance or supervision. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments as needed. Follow all safety, quality, and cleanliness protocols, including cleanroom gowning procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality. Support validation and calibration activities when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S standards.
