Position:
Assembly & Soldering Technician (ITI/Diploma)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform soldering of through-hole and SMD (Surface Mount Devices) components on PCBs.
Carry out wiring, crimping, and assembly of electrical/electronic units as per design specifications.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and assembly drawings.
Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of circuits and assembled units.
Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures during assembly.
Maintain quality standards and ensure defect-free solder joints and assemblies.
Assist engineers in prototype development and small-batch production.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workbench in proper condition.
Requirements:
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
Experience: 1-3 years in soldering, PCB assembly, or electrical wiring (Freshers with strong soldering skills may also apply).
Skills:
Hands-on experience in manual soldering (both THT & SMD preferred).
Knowledge of electronic components and wiring practices.
Ability to use tools like multimeter, crimping tools, soldering stations, and cutters.
Good understanding of safety and quality practices.
