Skilled individual with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering to oversee our assembly line operations. Will be responsible for assembling products as per set procedures, coordinate with other assembly line workers, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining quality standards. The role also involves basic troubleshooting, process improvements, and coordination with stores and quality departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and monitor day-to-day assembly activities.
Coordinate with the team to ensure timely and accurate production.
Understand assembly drawings and procedures and ensure proper work instructions are followed.
Maintain assembly line discipline, safety, and housekeeping.
Coordinate with stores for parts availability and with QC for inspections.
Report daily production progress and issues/suggestions for improvement to management.
Support product development team
Qualification:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
:
0-3 years in assembly line or manufacturing operations preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of mechanical components and tools.
Knowhow on different mechanical tools.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and SOPs.
