Job Summary:

We are looking for dedicated and skilled

Fitters

to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and testing industrial pumps and their components as per engineering drawings and quality standards. Both freshers with technical training and experienced fitters are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

For Freshers:

Learn and understand the assembly process of various types of industrial pumps (centrifugal, submersible, etc.) Assist in the mechanical fitting, alignment, and installation of pump components. Support senior fitters during pump assembly, maintenance, and repair work. Follow safety procedures and workshop discipline. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
For Experienced Candidates:

Independently read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and assembly of pump components (impellers, casings, shafts, seals, etc.) Use tools and machines such as torque wrenches, dial gauges, grinders, and pneumatic tools efficiently. Conduct quality checks and testing of pump assemblies. Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues in the assembly or during testing. Mentor junior staff and guide helpers as required.

Required Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Mechanical, or relevant trade from a recognized institute.

Experience:

Fresher with ITI/Diploma welcome. 1-5 years of experience in mechanical fitting/assembly, preferably in pump or rotating equipment manufacturing.

Key Skills:

Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and machines. Ability to read mechanical drawings (for experienced candidates). Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina. Understanding of safety procedures and standards. Teamwork and punctuality.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to work in shifts if required. Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
