JOB TITLE : ASM - Application Engineering - Mechanical
On a typical day you will:Abide by Ethics, Internal Controls and safety policies as per company standards. Support pre-sales (deviation approvals) : Volumes, Key accounts & Major projects. Major project management - Enquiry level to booking stage. Engagement with Sales & Marketing team (Trainings, change communications & new deviation features enhancement etc.) Work on projects to simplify the TAT, accuracy & improve the deviation approvals response time. Provide and suggest value engineering or alternative solutions to win the projects. Support deployment of new products, components or features. Understanding & preparation of Bill of Material (BOM) and concept or Plane view drawings as per the customer requirements. Knowledge of codes and standards of Elevator such as IS 17900, IS 14665, IS 15330, NBC 2016, EN81-20/50 etc. Co-ordinate with stakeholders internally for technical feasibility & commercials. Co-ordinate with Internal departments of factory (PMS, CED, SCM & Quality etc.) technical support on contracts and deviations understanding support. Support and implement OPXL Quality system elements in application engineering function. Promote and support the Continuous Improvement Process within area of responsibility and across other OIPC functions. Perform specific tasks assigned by the department head/Reporting manager from time to time based on organization need.

What you will need to be successfull:Possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed institution with rich experience in Vertical Transportations equipment's. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in any reputed Elevator industry / Equivalent engineering industry Working knowledge in computer aided design & drafting software is essential. Customer centricity. Knowledge of Windows / Microsoft Office based applications Conversant with Mechanical systems / component design / process. Good Communication skill, good teamwork and good attitude.
