You are responsible for supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and maintaining strong team engagement in the sports retail environment. The role requires strong leadership, product knowledge, and a passion for sports and fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Customer Service
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Provide personalized customer service by understanding customer needs and offering suitable sports products and solutions.
Support visual merchandising and product display to maximize sales opportunities.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
2. Store Operations
Assist in day-to-day store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and stock management.
Ensure the showroom is clean, well-organized, and compliant with brand standards.
Oversee inventory control, replenishment, and shrinkage management.
Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and safety protocols.
3. Team Leadership & Training
Supervise, motivate, and coach showroom staff to deliver top-tier customer service.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of sales associates.
Assist in scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance.
4. Visual Merchandising & Product Knowledge
Maintain appealing and strategic product displays aligned with brand guidelines.
Stay updated on the latest sports trends, product launches, and technology innovations.
Educate the team on key product features, benefits, and selling points.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Support in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Track KPIs such as conversion rate, average basket size, and customer satisfaction scores.
Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
2-5 years of experience in retail management, ideally in the
sports / lifestyle / apparel
sector.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for sports, fitness, and active lifestyle.
Proficient in MS Office .
