Responsibilities:
We're looking for a Layout Design Engineer to join the team as "A&MS Layout Design Engr, I". Oversees definition, this is an exciting role in Synopsys. Synopsys is at the forefront of Smart Everything with the world's most advanced technologies for chip design, verification, IP integration, and software security and quality testing. In Synopsys, we help our customers innovate from silicon to software so they can bring Smart Everything to life. The ideal candidate for the position is someone who has typically a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in Layout, Verification, and Documentation for circuit development. Contributes to drawing physical layout of different memory architecture designs and also contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits in all technology nodes. Responsibilities:

• Has an excellent desire to learn and explore new technologies.
• Demonstrates good review and problem-solving skills.
• Exercises judgment to resolve appropriate action.
• Custom Layout design for different memory architectural designs - Know-how of design requirements and work closely with the design team.
• Perform physical verifications like DRC/LVS/Reliability and fixing errors.

Requirements:

• Hands-on layout experience in various complex circuits.
• Know-how of layout effects on the circuit such as speed, capacitance, power and area etc.
• Proficient in various layout techniques to draw quality layouts to meet the best performance.
• Good know-how of Electro-migration effects and techniques to overcome it.
• Having worked on the latest technology nodes, 28nm and below, is desired.
• Scripting and automation experience is a plus.
• Good communication skills, documentation and presentation skills.
• Prior know-how and experience of CAD tools like Totem, XARA.
