T3 T4 Junior Support AS400 Support Team


Experience

3 to 5 Years


We are seeking an experienced AS400 IBM i support resource to support maintain and enhance applications on the IBM i AS400 platform. The ideal candidate will have development expertise in RPG programming and DB2.


Key Responsibilities


Support enhance and maintain applications on the IBM i AS400 platform

Write test and debug programs using RPG RPGLE CL and CLLE

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Support and troubleshoot production issues and system failures

Perform system integrations with external applications such as APIs and file transfers

Maintain documentation for programs processes and system changes

Collaborate with business analysts testers and support teams


Required Skills and Qualifications


Good experience with IBM i AS400 environment

Proficiency in RPG RPGLE in free and fixed format

Experience with CL and CLLE programming

Knowledge of DB2 400 SQL and database design

Familiarity with IBM i system operations job queues libraries and security

Experience with debugging and performance tuning

Understanding of SDLC and version control tools

Good analytical and problem solving skills
