Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain applications on IBM iSeries (AS400) using

RPG (RPGLE, RPG/400), CL, and DB2

. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform system integration, testing, and debugging of applications. Provide production support and resolve issues in a timely manner. Optimize existing programs for performance and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects. Prepare technical documentation and adhere to coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience in

AS400/iSeries development

. Proficiency in

RPGLE, RPG/400, CL, SQL, and DB2

. Knowledge of

ILE concepts

, service programs, and binding directories. Experience with

subfile programming, APIs, and data queues

. Familiarity with

change management tools

(e.g., Turnover, Aldon). Good understanding of

SDLC

and Agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
