Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and skilled Arts & Craft Teacher to inspire young minds and promote artistic expression among students. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in visual arts and crafts, an understanding of child development, and the ability to integrate creative activities with CBSE curriculum requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement age-appropriate art and craft lessons for students across different grade levels Encourage creativity, self-expression, and appreciation for various art forms Prepare students for art exhibitions, inter-school competitions, and celebrations Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment with necessary art supplies Evaluate students' progress through regular assessments and constructive feedback Integrate art projects with other subjects to enhance interdisciplinary learning Organize displays of student work to promote school culture and visual communication Contribute to school events and festivals with decorative and thematic artwork Maintain inventory of materials and ensure efficient usage Train the students for inter-school competitions

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Art Education or equivalent B.Ed preferred (as per CBSE norms) Prior teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school is an advantage Familiarity with CBSE art curriculum and assessment guidelines

Excellent communication and classroom management skills Passion for teaching and nurturing creativity Knowledge of diverse art techniques, traditional Indian crafts, and modern media Ability to work collaboratively with staff and engage with students of all age groups Innovative mindset with a flair for aesthetics
