Key Responsibilities
Create
2D & 3D designs
for modular furniture using
Art CAM
Prepare
CNC tool paths
and machining files for routers
Develop
cut lists, nesting layouts, and panel optimization
Interpret
interior drawings, shop drawings, and client requirements
Coordinate with
production, CNC operators, and design teams
Ensure designs meet
manufacturing feasibility and quality standards
Modify designs based on
production feedback and site requirements
Maintain proper documentation of drawings and CNC programs
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
2 years of experience
as an ArtCAM Designer in furniture/modular industry
Strong knowledge of
ArtCAM software
Good understanding of
CNC machines, tooling, and materials
Experience in
plywood, MDF, HDF, laminates, and hardware fittings
Basic knowledge of
AutoCAD
(preferred)
Good coordination and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in
modular kitchens, wardrobes, office furniture
Knowledge of
Smart2D / Maxicut
(added advantage)
Understanding of
production workflow and installation constraints
