Job Description

Looking for a passionate and skilled Art Teacher to join our reputed Art Academy. The ideal candidate will inspire and guide students of various age groups in exploring different forms of visual arts including drawing, painting, sketching, mixed media, and more. You will be responsible for delivering structured yet creative art lessons, encouraging artistic expression, and helping students develop their technical and conceptual art skills.

Key Responsibilities:

l Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels.
l Teach techniques in drawing, painting, shading, color theory, composition, and other visual arts.
l Inspire creativity and self-expression through practical art projects.
l Monitor and assess student progress; provide constructive feedback and encouragement.
l Maintain a clean, organized, and safe studio or classroom environment.
l Manage art materials and ensure proper usage and storage.
l Organize student exhibitions, workshops, and community art activities.
l Stay updated with current art trends, tools, and teaching methods.
l Encourage students to develop portfolios for academic or professional use.
l Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a consistent, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

l Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
l Prior teaching experience in an art school, academy, or educational institute.
l Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic ability and versatility.
l Proficiency in multiple art techniques and media (e.g., watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, digital, etc.).
l Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
l Passion for teaching and mentoring students of all ages.

Preferred Skills:

l Experience with art competitions, exhibitions, and student portfolio development.
l Familiarity with digital art tools (Photoshop, Procreate, etc.) is a plus.
l Multilingual ability (especially Hindi and English) is an advantage.

Working Hours:

Friday to Wednesday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Thursday Off)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
