Job Description

Job Summary:

The Art Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering creative art lessons that encourage artistic expression, imagination, and skill development among students. The teacher will introduce students to various art forms, materials, and techniques while fostering a supportive and inspiring classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons as per the school curriculum and student age groups. Teach different forms of art such as drawing, painting, sketching, craftwork, sculpture, and digital art (if applicable). Encourage creativity and self-expression through classroom projects and activities. Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and displays to showcase student artwork. Maintain an art room that is organized, safe, and conducive to creative learning. Introduce students to the history of art, famous artists, and various art styles. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance. Manage art supplies and maintain inventory efficiently. Collaborate with other subject teachers during school events and interdisciplinary projects. Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and parent-teacher interactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts or related field. Prior experience teaching art in a school setting preferred. Strong artistic skills and familiarity with various art mediums and tools. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children. Ability to inspire and nurture artistic talent in students.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
