Position: Art & Craft Teacher - Secondary Section

School: St. John School, ICSE

Location: goregaon

Grade: VI - X

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of relevant teaching experience in ICSE/CBSE/International curriculum schools

Qualification: Bachelor's / Master's in Fine Arts or equivalent certification in Art & Craft education

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:

Plan and deliver engaging Art & Craft lessons aligned with ICSE guidelines and school curriculum.
Teach various techniques in sketching, painting, sculpture, paper craft, and mixed media.
Integrate art with academic subjects to enhance students' creativity and conceptual understanding.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and resource materials in advance.
Student Development:

Encourage creativity, originality, and artistic expression among students.
Identify and nurture students with exceptional artistic talent.
Organize art exhibitions, displays, and competitions to showcase student work.
Guide students in preparing art projects for school events and external competitions.
School Events & Activities:

Assist in decoration and visual setup for school functions, assemblies, and festivals.
Support inter-house and inter-school art-related activities.
Administrative & Professional Responsibilities:

Maintain proper records of student progress and grades.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of art materials and supplies.
Collaborate with other subject teachers for interdisciplinary projects.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school initiatives.

Strong artistic and creative skills.
Patience and enthusiasm to work with adolescents.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire creativity in students.

Pay: ₹12,985.41 - ₹40,000.00 per month
