Key Responsibilities

Curriculum & Lesson Planning:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the IGCSE Art syllabus. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration and learning.

Instruction & Teaching:

Teach a range of art techniques, including drawing, painting, coloring, and shading. Instruct students on the safe and proper use of art tools and equipment. Integrate art history, cultural contexts, and diverse artistic traditions into lessons.

Student Assessment & Feedback:

Assign and grade art projects and assignments, maintaining records of student progress. Provide constructive and targeted feedback to students. Help students develop their art portfolios and organize exhibitions.

Classroom & Material Management:

Manage and maintain the inventory of art materials and equipment. Prepare and arrange art materials and equipment for student use.

Collaboration & Communication:

Liaise with Heads of Department and Learning Support for students with special educational needs. Communicate effectively with parents during meetings and through reports. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the school's art programs.
