Position Overview

The Art Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging visual arts instruction that fosters creativity, self-expression, and artistic skill development. The teacher supports students in exploring various art forms while aligning instruction with curriculum standards and school goals.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate art lessons aligned with curriculum standards Teach a variety of art techniques, media, and art history concepts Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and individual artistic expression Assess and evaluate student progress through projects, portfolios, and participation Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment Prepare and manage art supplies, materials, and classroom equipment Display student artwork in classrooms, hallways, or exhibitions Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support cross-curricular learning Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians about progress Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (Master's preferred for some roles) Valid teaching certification or license (as required by state/country) Knowledge of various art media (drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, etc.) Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
