Job Summary
The Art & Craft Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging art and craft lessons to students, fostering creativity, artistic skills, and self-expression. The role involves planning lessons, conducting activities, managing classroom materials, and supporting students in developing their artistic potential.
Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate art and craft lessons as per the curriculum.
Teach drawing, painting, sketching, paper craft, clay modelling, and other creative techniques.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and project guidelines.
Encourage creativity and guide students through hands-on activities.
Assess student progress and maintain records of performance.
Organize school exhibitions, competitions, and cultural event decorations.
Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and storage of art materials.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure safety protocols.
Support students in preparing artwork for events, competitions, and portfolios.
Collaborate with academic and event teams for school programs.

Strong artistic skills: drawing, painting, craft designing, and creative techniques.

Educational & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) / Master of Fine Arts (MFA)
OR
Diploma in Fine Arts / Art & Craft Teaching Certification.
Prior experience teaching art & craft in schools or training centers preferred.
Experience
0-3 years (Freshers with strong creative skills may also apply).
Working Conditions
Classroom-based teaching environment.
Requires handling of art materials, tools, and equipment.
May require involvement in weekend events or exhibitions.
Salary Range
As per industry standards and experience.
Additional Requirements
Portfolio of artwork will be an added advantage.
Ability to support school decoration activities during events.
