Job Summary:

The Art & Craft Teacher is responsible for nurturing students' creativity and artistic skills through various visual art and craft activities, in alignment with CBSE guidelines and NEP 2020, while encouraging self-expression, cultural awareness, and aesthetic appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct age-appropriate Art & Craft classes as per CBSE curriculum and co-scholastic requirements. Teach various art forms including drawing, painting, coloring, sketching, paper craft, clay modeling, and collage work. Introduce students to basic design concepts, textures, colors, and creative techniques. Prepare students for school exhibitions, competitions, displays, and annual functions. Integrate art activities with academic subjects as part of CBSE art integration initiatives. Encourage creativity, imagination, and fine motor skill development. Maintain discipline and ensure safe use of art materials and tools. Maintain records of students' participation and progress. Display students' artwork creatively within school premises. Participate in school meetings, workshops, and training programs. Support school events, celebrations, and cultural activities. Take up additional co-curricular responsibilities as assigned by the school.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualification:

Degree / Diploma in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or Art & Craft Teacher training qualification (B.Ed / D.Ed / TTC) preferred

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred Experience in handling school students is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies:

Strong artistic and creative skills. Ability to teach students of different age groups. Knowledge of various art and craft techniques and materials. Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching. Good classroom management and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
