About the role

The Art and Craft Teacher will be developing lesson plans, teaching students various art techniques, fostering creativity, and assessing student progress. Teacher will also be responsible for preparing and organizing art materials, maintaining a safe classroom, and coordinating art displays or exhibitions.

What you will be doing

1.Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and projects. Teach students about various art techniques, mediums, and principles, and provide both individual and group instruction.

2.Encourage creativity, self-expression, and a love for art and cultural traditions.

3.Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback on their work.

4.Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.

5.Work with other teachers to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects and participate in school events.

6.Plan and coordinate art displays and exhibitions to showcase student work.

7.Stay updated on new art techniques and methods.

Position requirements:

1.Strong artistic and creative abilities.

2.Knowledge of various art techniques and materials, as well as art history.

3.Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

4.Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to work effectively with children.

5.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

1.Degree from a recognized University

2.Bachelor's/ master's degree in fine arts or a related field is mandatory.

3.Previous proven experience of 2 to 5 years.
