: : Job Title: Area/Unit Manager Location Mumbai Department Sales & Operations Level/Salary Range: Position Type Full-Time Primary POC: Reporting Manager: About Generico: The Role : The Area Manager will be a Business Head for a unit, managing up-to 20 stores, and reporting directly to the City Head. The incumbent will be responsible for driving sales, controlling costs, optimize operations and control inventory of his Area. (S)he will have a team of Store managers reporting to them, and work closely with the City Head to drive business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Single point contact of all stores manager to management/City head Manage and deliver the preset sales target of his region by identifying the gaps and providing required feedback to marketing, operations and other departments Weekly/Monthly meetings of store managers for feedback on improvement on all key performance parameters of the unit Manage the reward and recognition program for all store employees Controlling inventory buildup at stores by continuous monitoring the SKU movements Sales reconciliation with accounts for the unit Managing all administrative and HR related needs of his unit Desired Skills and Expertise: 5+ year experience as a regional sales in a Pharmaceutical retail / FMCG business Experience of building and managing large and diverse teams Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills, with independent ownership and result orientation Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to plan and manage a variety of projects Commercial insight and understanding Ability to thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate creativity and intellectual flexibility in an uncertain and rapidly changing environment Qualifications : Any Bachelor Degree or MBA Experience : 5+ year experience in Sales & Operations, having managed large business verticals independently Skills : Leadership, team management, sales, operations, analytics Key Skills : Area Manager (/jobseeker/area-manager-jobs)
