The main role and responsibilities for above designations are as below:
An Area/Territory Service In-charge will manage all customer service and after-sales support within a specific geographic region, focusing on team leadership, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and achieving business targets by overseeing service centers, training staff, handling escalated issues, and ensuring quality standards are met for products/services in their territory and he will also appoint BP (Business Partners).
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage service center staff, engineers, and technicians, fostering skill development and performance improvement.
Operational Management:
Oversee Business Partners upkeep, manage workflows, control costs, ensure adequate staffing, and maintain compliance with policies and ASI/TSI will focus on B2C sales generated through FOS and Service Engineers etc.
Customer Experience:
Drive high customer satisfaction by resolving escalated issues, ensuring service quality, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements.
Business & Strategy:
Focus on services after sales and B2C sales and collaborate with sales/other departments, analyze performance metrics, implement service strategies, and report on regional performance to senior management.
Technical & Product Support:
Ensure readiness for new products (training, parts), manage spare parts, and support field service operations.
Key Skills & Knowledge
Team management and delegation.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Deep understanding of product, market, and repair operations.
Customer focus and relationship management.
Financial acumen (managing costs).
Goal
To ensure smooth service delivery, maximize customer retention, and contribute to overall business growth by aligning service operations with company objectives.
