We are seeking a proactive and results-driven

Sales Officer

to join our team. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets to drive company growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development



Identify and target new business opportunities within the agricultural sector, including farmers, cooperatives, and agribusinesses. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and market trends. Customer Relationship Management



Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Provide after-sales support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.

Product Knowledge & Promotion



Stay updated on the latest agricultural products, technologies, and industry trends. Educate customers on the benefits and proper usage of products. Organize and conduct product demonstrations and training sessions.Jobya

Sales Reporting & Documentation



Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management. Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.Jobya

Collaboration & Coordination



Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote products.Jooble

Qualifications & Experience



Educational Background

: Any Degree

Experience

: Minimum 2 years experience in sales

Skills

: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and address customer needs effectively. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Preferred Attributes



Experience in selling agri-inputs like fertilizers, pesticides, or cattle feed. Familiarity with local agricultural practices and market dynamics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fluency in the local language(s) to effectively communicate with farmers and stakeholders.
