: Sales Officer (Automobile Industry)



Position Overview



The Automobile Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling vehicles, accessories, and related services to prospective and existing customers. The role focuses on understanding customer requirements, offering suitable vehicle options, providing test drives, and ensuring an exceptional showroom experience while meeting monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities



Greet customers in the showroom and understand their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget. Present automobiles (cars/bikes/commercial vehicles) and explain features, specifications, pricing, and financing options. Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle performance and safety features. Actively pursue new sales opportunities through follow-ups, referrals, and field visits. Negotiate pricing, finalize sales agreements, and coordinate with finance teams for loan processing. Maintain detailed records of inquiries, test drives, and closed deals using CRM systems. Promote add-ons such as insurance, extended warranties, service packages, and accessories. Achieve monthly and quarterly vehicle sales targets. Collaborate with the service department for smooth vehicle delivery and after-sales support. Keep up-to-date with new vehicle models, competitive brands, market trends, and promotional offers.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Prior experience in automobile sales or showroom operations is a strong advantage. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills. Strong understanding of automotive features, specifications, and financing processes. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
