Job Description


Job Title: Area Sales Manager

: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee the development and growth of our B2B food product lines, specifically focusing on bakery ingredients, ice cream ingredients, and HORECA (Hotel Restaurant Caterers) ingredients. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and implementing effective strategies to achieve revenue targets within your designated area.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve sales targets and maximize market share for bakery ingredients, ice cream ingredients, and HORECA ingredients.

Identify and prospect potential B2B customers, including bakeries, ice cream parlors, hotels, restaurants, caterers, and other food service establishments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, product positioning strategies, and sales materials to support the sales efforts.

Train and educate customers on product features, benefits, and applications.

Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitor activities.

Participate in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase products and expand network.

Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, customer needs, and product enhancements.

Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in food ingredients to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in Food Science or a culinary background is a plus.

Proven experience in sales and business development within the food industry, preferably in B2B sales of bakery ingredients, ice cream ingredients, and HORECA (Hotel Restaurant Caterers) ingredients.

Strong understanding of the food service market, including customer preferences, trends, and industry regulations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Proficiency in using sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.

Willingness to travel within the assigned area as required.
