We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Area Sales Officer to join our dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for an individual with approximately 1 year of sales experience, eager to grow their career in the construction and steel industry. As a ASO, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts, building customer relationships, and contributing to market expansion within your designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support & Target Achievement: Assist in achieving sales targets and revenue goals by supporting senior team members, identifying potential new business opportunities, and nurturing existing customer relationships.
2. Customer Engagement: Learn to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including contractors, builders, and architects, under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
3. Market Research & Development: Conduct basic market research to identify new markets, potential customers, and sales channels, contributing to business growth strategies.
4. Product Learning & Promotion: Actively learn about TMT bars and related products, their benefits, features, and applications, to effectively promote them to customers.
5. Competitor Monitoring: Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and general market trends to help the team stay competitive.
6. Sales Reporting & Feedback: Assist in preparing regular sales reports, forecasts, and collecting market feedback for management.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
1. Sales Aptitude: Approximately 1 year of proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction or steel industry, or a strong desire to learn and excel in this field.
2. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to develop further.
3. Foundational Market Knowledge: Basic understanding of the construction industry, market trends, and customer needs. Eagerness to expand this knowledge.
4. Product Awareness: Basic knowledge of TMT bars, their applications, and benefits, with a commitment to continuous learning.
5. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and contribute to meeting deadlines.
