Area Sales Manager-B2B (HORECA)

Experience:

4 to 8 years of relevant experience working as a ASM in the field of B2B - HORECA - Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers, Cafes, QSRs, Cloud Kitchens.

Industry:

FMCG / Food Ingredients (Masala & Spices)

Location:

Hubli andEntire North Karnataka

Travel:

Role requires extensive travel.

Job Overview:

To drive

B2B sales growth in the HORECA

segment by acquiring new institutional customers, strengthening existing accounts, expanding product penetration of masala and spices, and achieving volume and value targets within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Business Development



Should have

strong leg-work and on-ground sales

experience in the

HORECA

segment across North Karnataka, particularly in Hubli, and must be capable of working independently. Develop and execute sales strategies for

B2B HORECA

customers across the assigned area. Identify, onboard, and manage

Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers, Cafe's, QSRs, and Institutional Kitchens.

Helping with the appointment of

new distributors

wherever required. Achieve monthly and annual sales volume, value, and collection targets. Drive bulk sales, contract pricing, and repeat orders.

Key Account Management



Build strong relationships with chefs, purchase managers, F&B managers, and owners. Conduct product demos, sampling, and tastings to promote masala and spice ranges. Ensure regular follow-ups, order conversion, and long-term contracts.

Channel & Distributor Management



Appoint and manage B2B distributors/stockists for HORECA supply. Ensure proper availability, pricing discipline, credit control, and timely deliveries. Monitor distributor performance, secondary sales, and inventory levels.

Market Development & Promotion



Launch new products and drive product trials in institutional kitchens. Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends. Support promotional activities, food expos, chef meets, and trade events.

Reporting



Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.

Key Skills:



Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills Deep understanding of HORECA buying behavior. Ability to handle bulk orders, tenders, and institutional pricing. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Target-oriented and self-driven

Preferred Attributes



Existing network with chefs, hotels, restaurant chains, and caterers. Experience in launching products in HORECA segment. Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

Education



Graduate in any discipline or MBA/PGDM - Marketing preferred
