Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Agriculture or related field preferred; MBA in Marketing is a plus
Job Summary:
Seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead branded agrochemical sales, manage dealer networks, and drive team performance. Responsible for achieving sales targets, enhancing brand visibility, and executing strategic growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for branded agrochemical products within the assigned area.
2. Dealer & Distributor Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
Ensure proper stock levels and timely order execution.
3. Team Management:
Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Officers or Territory Managers. Provide guidance
on field activities, performance monitoring, and target setting.
4. Market Development:
Plan and implement market development activities such as farmer meetings, product
demonstrations, field days, and awareness campaigns to enhance product visibility and
brand preference.
5. Compliance & Ethics:
Ensure business is conducted in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and
applicable regulations.
