Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and target-driven
Area Sales Manager
to lead and expand loan sales activities across assigned locations. The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years of experience in selling retail loan products, managing sales teams, driving business volumes, and handling channel partners such as DSAs and connectors.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
Achieve sales targets for multiple loan products (PL/BL/HL/LAP/Mortgage/Vehicle Loans).
Develop new business opportunities through DSAs, connectors, builders, and corporate channels.
Conduct market analysis to identify potential customers and geographies.
Drive sourcing, lead generation, and conversions.
2. Team Leadership
Manage and guide a team of Sales Executives and Relationship Officers.
Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews.
Motivate team members to achieve monthly and quarterly goals.
3. Loan Process Coordination
Monitor lead flow from login to disbursement.
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to KYC norms.
Coordinate with credit, operations, and backend teams for faster TAT.
4. Channel Partner Management
Build strong relationships with DSAs, connectors, real estate agents, builders, and other sourcing partners.
Conduct regular visits and maintain engagement for consistent business flow.
Resolve partner queries and ensure smooth payout processes.
5. Customer Management
Address customer queries, escalations, and ensure high satisfaction.
Support customers during document collection, verification, and approval stages.
6. Reporting & MIS
Maintain daily MIS for leads, logins, approvals, rejections, and disbursements.
Present performance data and weekly reports to management.
Track competitor activities and market trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3-6 years of experience in loan sales (PL/BL/HL/Mortgage/LAP/Vehicle Loans).
Strong knowledge of loan products, market dynamics, and branch-level operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to lead teams and drive performance.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales tracking systems.
Education
Any Graduate or Postgraduate (MBA preferred).
Salary
