Job Description

Accountability / Responsibility

1. Achieve regional sales targets for DG sets (5-160 kVA range) through direct and

channel sales.

2. Identify and develop new B2B customers (builders, contractors, industrial clients,

OEMs, and institutions).

3. Responsible for all retail genset sales in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.

4. Manage existing dealer/distributor networks and onboard new partners where gaps

exist.

5. Regular Review with Channels and report submission.

6. Deep understanding of products along with comparisons and product demonstration

which shall be used to convince the potential buyers and channel partners.

7. Coordinate product demos, technical presentations, and site visits with the service

team.

8. Conduct regular competitor and pricing analysis to support strategic decision making.

9. Identify emerging sectors (commercial real estate, data centers, healthcare, etc.) for

growth.

10.Provide structured feedback to the product and marketing teams on customer needs

and market trends.

11.Maintain long-term relationships with key customers, consultants, and EPC

contractors.

12.Ensure customer satisfaction through close coordination with service and after sales teams.

13.Participate in trade fairs, dealer meets, and industry networking events.

14.Prepare monthly sales forecasts, funnel reports, and territory performance reviews.

15.Ensure timely payment collections and maintain working capital discipline.

16.Report on market developments and competitor activities to management in real

time.

Qualifications / Requirements / Minimum Experience

1. 10+ years in sales of DG sets preferred. Alternately, experience in alternators, or

related electrical/mechanical capital goods.

2. B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

3. Knowledge of MS office is Essential.

4. Strong understanding of DG set applications and customer segments.

5. Fluent in Telugu - must be able to build rapport at all levels of the customer

hierarchy.

6. Act as the primary bridge between the commercial (Sales/Marketing) and production

teams to ensure manufacturing plans are aligned with sales forecasts and customer

delivery commitments.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
