Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the orthopaedic product portfolio.
Develop and execute area-specific sales strategies to grow market share.
Identify new business opportunities, hospitals, and surgeon partnerships for expansion.
Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to management.
2. Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, hospital administrators, purchase teams, and nursing staff.
Drive product advocacy and clinical preference through surgeon engagement and case support.
Conduct periodic customer meetings, CMEs, workshops, and product demonstrations.
3. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and support Territory Managers / Sales Executives within the region.
Conduct regular field visits, joint calls, and performance reviews.
Train the team in product knowledge, selling skills, and OR protocol.
4. Operational & Distributor Management
Manage distributor performance, inventory, forecasting, and credit control.
Ensure compliance with company policies regarding pricing, discounting, and supply chain.
Coordinate with logistics, supply, and finance teams for seamless operations.
5. Clinical & Technical Support
Provide operating room (OT) support for key surgeries and ensure correct implant usage.
Guide surgeons and staff on instrumentation, techniques, and product handling.
Support evaluations, trials, and product conversions.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate sales reports, funnel management, and territory activity records.
Present periodic business reviews to regional leadership.
Track KPIs including sales performance, productivity, and customer engagements.
