Job Title: Area Sales Manager - School Sales
Location: Thane
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years field sales experience preferably school sales(educational publishing, ed-tech, or academic product sales)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a result-oriented and dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead and driveschool sales in the Thane region. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sellingeducational products/services to schools, strong networking skills, and the ability toachieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
? Identify, approach, and onboard new schools and educational institutions in theassigned territory
? Maintain strong relationships with school principals, management, anddecision-makers
? Conduct regular visits, presentations, and product demos at schools
? Drive revenue growth and ensure monthly/quarterly sales targets are met?
Track market trends, competitor activity, and provide feedback to the management
? Monitor collections and ensure timely payments
? Train and support local sales representatives or distributors, if applicable
? Participate in school exhibitions, conferences, and marketing events
Candidate Requirements:
? Minimum 4 years of proven experience in school sales.
? Bachelor's degree or higher (MBA in Marketing/Sales will be an advantage).
? Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
? Willingness to travel extensively within the Thane region
? Self-motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently
? Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ?600,000.00 per year
