Job Description

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will manage end-to-end sales operations for the assigned region, drive revenue growth, expand the dealer/retail network, and ensure successful execution of sales strategies. The role involves team coordination, field sales activities, market intelligence, and customer relationship management.

Sales & Business Development



Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the region.

Develop, maintain, and grow a B2B & B2C network of potential Clientele.

Generate leads through field visits, market mapping, and industry connections.

Identify new business opportunities in retail, commercial, industrial, and warehousing sectors.

Customer & Market Management



Conduct product demos, site visits, and technical discussions with clients.

Handle customer queries, pricing, quotations, and negotiate closures.

Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends to support strategic decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Education: Any Graduate; preference for candidates with MBA/BBA/Engineering backgrounds. Experience: 3 - 5 years of sales experience in: Furniture systems | Modular kitchens | Interiors solutions | Wall, Ceiling Panels |Building materials | Industrial shelving / retail racks / storage systems
Proven ability to handle field sales, B2B & B2C customer interactions.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Good understanding of regional markets (Kerala/Karnataka/Tamil Nadu).

Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Coordination & Execution



Collaborate with design, production, QC, and installation teams for smooth project execution.

Review order schedules, dispatch timelines, and installation progress.

Coordinate with the central sales team for pricing, proposals, and customer approvals.

Reporting & Documentation



Maintain detailed sales records, client data, and visit reports.

Submit weekly and monthly MIS reports, forecasts, and territory performance insights.

Ensure CRM/ERP entries are updated accurately and on time.

Team & Territory Management



Guide and supervise Sales Officers/Executives when assigned.

Plan territory coverage, market visits, and promotional activities.

Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and brand promotion events.
