Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Managers to drive sales of Landmark Technology's products. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing sales on the GeM portal, and building relationships with both private and government educational institutions. Candidates with experience in selling to schools and colleges or from industries like insurance sales are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Execution

Promote Landmark Technology's product range, including: Interactive Panels, Digital Podiums, and Smart Classroom Solutions for educational institutions. Writing Boards (Greenboards, Whiteboards, Ceramic Boards) for schools and offices. Office and Institutional Furniture for classrooms, offices, and hospitals. CCTV Surveillance Systems and LED Walls for secure and modernized spaces. Video Conferencing Systems and Information Kiosks for seamless communication. Identify and target key decision-makers in private schools, colleges, and government institutions. Leverage the GeM portal to submit bids, manage tenders, and secure government orders. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.
2. Client Management and Business Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in private schools, colleges, universities, and government bodies. Conduct regular product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of educational institutions. Address customer inquiries and ensure satisfaction through excellent pre- and post-sales support.
3. Market Research and Reporting

Analyze market trends and provide insights to identify new sales opportunities and customer needs. Keep track of competitor activities and suggest strategies to stay ahead in the market. Prepare and submit detailed sales reports, forecasts, and client updates to the management.
4. Team Collaboration

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of products. Provide feedback on customer requirements to help improve product offerings.
5. Incentive and Target Management

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background

Graduate degree in any field (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in direct sales, B2B sales, or selling to schools and colleges. Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in the education sector, particularly those whose major clients include private schools, colleges, and educational institutions. Candidates with experience in insurance sales will also be considered, provided they have strong client relationship-building skills. Experience with GeM portal selling and government tendering processes is a significant advantage.
Skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to develop relationships with clients and close deals. Strong understanding of the educational and government procurement landscape. Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and online bidding platforms.
Preferred Candidate

Candidates with existing networks in the education sector or prior sales experience in school-related products or insurance will be given priority.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: Based on performance and annual sales targets. Incentives: Quarterly performance-based incentives. Other benefits as per company policy.
