Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and result-driven

Area Sales Manager

to lead and expand our sales operations in the building material sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing business in a defined territory, managing key accounts, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base, including dealers, contractors, and retailers in the building materials sector. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing technical and commercial support. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to suggest improvements in products or services. Conduct regular field visits to key customers, dealers, and project sites to ensure excellent customer service and promote brand visibility. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the management. Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, procurement, and accounts to ensure timely delivery and smooth order processing. Train and mentor the sales team (if applicable) in the assigned region.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Sales Manager or Area Sales Manager in the building materials industry (tiles, cement, sanitary ware, paints, etc.). Strong knowledge of the building material products and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share. Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory. Result-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:



Experience handling dealer and distributor networks. Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
