We are looking for a high-performing Area Sales Manager to manage and expand our tea business across the Maharashtra region. The ideal candidate should be from Shivpur, Dhule,Nasik or Nandurbar, with strong experience in handling general trade, distributor networks, and achieving sales targets in the FMCG industry, particularly in tea or beverages.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle
general trade sales
across assigned districts in Maharashtra.
Appoint, manage, and develop
distributors, stockists, and sales officers
.
Ensure achievement of
primary & secondary sales targets
.
Execute
sales strategies, trade promotions
, and retail activation plans.
Monitor competitor activity and provide timely feedback to management.
Ensure product
availability and visibility
at retail outlets.
Conduct regular
market visits and beat audits
.
Lead and motivate sales team to deliver performance.
Coordinate with HO for supply chain, marketing support, and finance.
Submit weekly/monthly
sales reports, MIS, and field insights
.
Candidate Profile:
Must be located in or willing to work from
Shivpur, Dhule, Nasik or Nandurbar
.
Minimum
5-8 years of FMCG experience
, preferably in
tea/beverage industry
.
Good understanding of
Maharashtra's rural and semi-urban market
.
Strong
team handling, negotiation, and communication
skills.
Willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
